Suspension training certificates from five major shock manufacturers and a 40+ year industry expert. Ted Porter

Decades ago when Ted was just a boy, his dad who was a respected auto mechanic pointed out the poor suspension behavior of a car with a blown shock that was driving next to them. That began Ted's fascination with suspension. Ted went on to become a master certified BMW motorcycle technician, then a BMW dealership service manager at thjree dealerships over 15 years, and a motorcycle business owner since 2004 with a focus on suspension.

It wasn't long before the business became a nationally known importer and distributor of suspension products for all brands, plus distribution of other unique items such as the Hexcode products (GS-911 and HEX EzCAN) and SBVTools.

Ted still gets his hands dirty doing some of the ESA conversions and enjoys restoring his large collection of classic BMW motorcycles.

25 years Tuning & Designing Suspension Systems at Fox Racing Shocks before joining the team at BeemerShop in 2014. Jeff Favorite

Jeff performed many duties over the 25 years he worked at Fox Racing, including designing and testing suspension, providing race support in many forms, and he even ran the snowmobile aftermarket division for a time. Jeff decided to join the team at BeemerShop and was happy to get back to his first love, motorcycle suspension. If you send your shocks in for a rebuild, you'll have the good fortune to be able to talk with Jeff when he contacts you with his assessment of your suspension prior to doing the service. Jeff also does most of the fork work and he's a natural running our Roehrig shock dyno and doing custom valving.

From race team support, and extensive suspension technical training, to the many hats he wore at Fox Shocks, Scott brings a wealth of suspension knowledge and experience to the table. Scott Oreheck

From his experience working as a European Car tech and Race Technician, it became apparent to Scott that it was better to spend money on suspension, improving handling and overall performance, than it was to create a high horsepower motor that quickly overcame the stock suspension. A lifelong interest in suspension theory and application led Scott to working with SCCA Can Am and Trans Am teams, Honda Factory Supported teams, the Ducati Factory Superbike team, Fox Racing Shox and now here in the suspension department at BeemerShop.

Scott also had extensive training along the way with Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, KTM, Kawasaki, Can Am, Fox, Race Tech, Penske, Bosch, GMD Computrack and Tony Foale Suspension. One other fun aspect to the story is that Scott is now reunited with Jeff Favorite here at Beemershop who he knew previously from Honda Race teams and his 14 year career at Fox Racing where they both worked.

Scott’s extensive history with motorcycle suspension makes him a natural fit in the suspension department at Beemershop, adding greatly to our already impressive knowledge base.
