Get the most out of the small taillight on the R80G/S and R100GS with the Beacon LED Taillight kit from Ei.

Not a flashing unit, but the full array of LED's makes your lens come alive with more output and brilliance making you more visible day or night.  (LED assembly only, lens and taillight housing not included.)

Direct replacement for the stock bulb and reflector for trouble free installation.

Both the taillight and brake light functions are significantly brighter.

Wiring Scheme :

  • Brown wire is ground.
  • Black wire is taillight.
  • Yellow wire is brake light.

    When installing LED assembly:

    (LED wiring to BMW wiring in taillight housing)

  • Brown wire to brown wire.
  • Black wire to grey wire with black stripe.
  • Yellow wire to green wire with red stripe.

    bought this in person at the shop and installed in the parking lot. easy install. it comes with quality weatherproof spade connectors and instructions. the unit itself is coated all around and mounts perfectly. its much brighter and the plate light works as it should. the only thing i can mention is the intensity difference between running light and brake light. its not as big of a difference as i expected. at night the running light is pretty bright. these taillights are tiny, they were used on mopeds so maybe the brighter running light is a good thing.
