Rebuildable Driveshaft for K75/K100 models Except 16V

This driveshaft uses a heavy duty larger than stock German made Elbe U-joint with grease fittings. It is designed to be easily rebuilt with removable retaining clips similar to an automotive driveshaft. Unlike the stock driveshaft where the spline lube can drift away from the splines, this driveshaft was designed with a lube "reservoir" which retains large quantites of lube to promote long spline life.

Driveshaft is 100% new and complete, does not use any parts from the old driveshaft and there is no core charge.

U-joints are factory lubed and sealed, but for longest life u-joints can be re-greased every 30-40k miles. Use NLGI Grade 2 spec with an EP additive, commonly referred to as EP2 grease. One example is Chevron Ultra Duty EP2 grease but any lube meeting these specs is acceptable.

Fits all K75 models, and K100 models from manufacture date of 02/86 on. Does not fit Paralever models such as the K1 or K100RS 16 Valve.
