The original GTL rear shock was shot. I took advice from numerous fellow riders before picking the Wilbers unit and, more specifically, Ted Porter's BeemerShop. The difference was immediately noticeable. The Sport setting feels very planted and Comfort is great for longer miles. I've not ridden with a big load yet but me only for the shake-down ride was convincing. With a normal load (commuting with all boxes and work gear) was just as good. The only problem is that it's showing up the front shock as getting to replacement time too. Hey ho, for another Wilbers I shall go.
