Call Ted Porter who has always been helpful. Just needed a good all around replacement shock for 1992 R100GSPD. Ride the bike a few thousand miles a year and this fit the bill perfectly. Gave them my weight and they sprung it accordingly. Reb damp adjust works well, plenty of adjustability and being old school I dont mind the 2-3 min adjusting the threaded pre load for the few times a year I load er up. Might be nice to have the old style eccentric pre load cams employed on some of these shocks but oh well. I am going to ride a little more off road this season 22' and we'll see how it handles the heat build up but looking at the overall quality Im confident it will perform satisfactorily. Its a 30 year old bike with 65K mi worth of loose parts, marginal performance, poor handling characteristics and I love it! I figured what in the heck is a 1500.00 shock going to do to improve all that? thanks again to the guys at Beemershop!
